Questions we're often asked about plumbing and heating.
By law, any work on gas appliances, including boilers, must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer. If your project includes gas work, we'll make sure it's done by a registered engineer and you can ask to see their Gas Safe ID card.
Low pressure can come from a narrow or old supply pipe, a partly closed stopcock, scale build-up, or a gravity-fed system. We can test the incoming pressure and flow rate and recommend options such as a new supply or an unvented cylinder.
An unvented cylinder stores hot water at mains pressure, giving strong showers without a cold water tank in the loft. Installation must be done by a qualified installer and notified under Building Regulations.

Our Uxbridge Road base means short travel times across Ealing, Hammersmith and nearby areas.
We replumb Victorian terraces in Fulham, Hammersmith and Shepherd's Bush, upgrade heating in 1930s homes across Greenford, Perivale and Northolt, and fit bathrooms in mansion flats in Kensington and Notting Hill. Low water pressure is a common complaint in older properties in West Ealing and Hanwell, and there's usually a practical fix.
Landlords and businesses in Acton, Park Royal, Southall, Brentford, Isleworth and Chiswick also use us for maintenance and new installations.
